QUESTION TO PHOTOGRAPHERS?

I took this photograph in chicago in sept2006 and I am not a professional photographer.Now my question is to all the photographer those knows in and out of photography about the defect visible in this photograph.

    angle is vry good, bt d picture wld hv been mch better if the date stamp and the white line region hd been cropped..

    was that a technical glitch, the white lines that cuts the lower half of the pic?
    also its always better to take multiple shots, we can try different angles. i'm no photographer but it works for me.

    actually that was my question that defect[white line] and I posted this click purposefully to learn something about photography.yes you r absolutely right that in such casese we must take multiple shots.
    I will soon post the right click of this pic .soon.

    Nice angle and framing but it would have looked great if you have cropped date and white line.

I have seen paradise and I can never forget those places I visited 4 years back; though the time has changed but my memories associated with that trip never faded away.
